Meet Swampland Husky Rescue

Every rescue has a story, and every dog deserves the chance to find a loving family. We're shining a light on Swampland Husky Rescue and the work involved in helping Huskies find the right homes.

We've had the opportunity to spend time with some of their wonderful dogs, including helping groom pups as they get ready to meet potential adopters at community events. Getting to know these dogs reminds us just how much personality, affection, and potential every rescue animal has.

Want to help? Consider learning more about adoption, fostering, volunteering, or donating supplies directly to the rescue.

Meaningful ways to make a difference

You do not have to adopt to change an animal's life. Marion County rescues and shelters rely on local community support through everyday contributions, dedicated volunteers, and loving temporary homes.

Become a Foster Caregiver

Fostering frees up vital kennel space and provides pets with calm environments to decompress, learn basic routines, and heal before meeting their permanent families.

Donate Essential Supplies

Most rescues maintain wishlists of quality food, durable toys, clean bedding, and cleaning items to keep animals healthy and comfortable every day.

Volunteer Your Time

From walking shelter dogs and assisting at local adoption events to sharing adoptable profiles online, your spare hours create real momentum for pets in Ocala.

Make a Financial Donation

Even a small monetary donation can help with food, vet bills, medications, transport, and daily care. Donate directly through the rescues official website or another verified donation channel.

Attend Local Events

Adoption events, supply drives, fundraisers, and community gatherings help rescues connect with supporters and potential adopters. Attend when you can, invite a friend, shop and donate when appropriate.

Share Their Post

One simple share could help an animal reach the person who has been looking for them. Follow local rescues, share their posts, promote fundraisers, and help spread the word about upcoming events.
