Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances....

• Service agreement MUST be signed prior to services being rendered, can be signed through text, email or at their scheduled appointment time before pet is taken for services. Failure to sign service agreement will result in services not being preformed, appointment canceled and potentially a same day "no-show" fee (see below).

• The pet is fit and healthy, Grooming which takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner's risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health\skin conditions for which Paradise Pet Spaw LLC/Wag Swag cannot be held liable.

• The pet's rabies vaccine is up to date (as required by law) unless otherwise discussed.

• In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize Paradise Pet Spaw LLC/Wag Swag to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense. 

• Payment is to be made at the time of service. Payment can be cash, check or credit/debit card. Returned checks will incur a $35 charge. Our rates are based on the breed of the pet, coat condition and service type requested as well as the duration of the groom. Nail cutting, ear cleaning and plucking are part of the service unless the process is too stressful for the pet or too dangerous for the groomer or unwanted by the owner. 

• We do offer external anal gland expression. We DO NOT offer internal anal gland expression as this should be performed by a licensed veterinarian. 

• “De-matting" or complete coat removal will dramatically alter your pet's appearance. This procedure may expose pre-existing health\skin problems for which Paradise Pet Spaw LLC/Wag Swag cannot be held liable. 

1. Cancellations

We follow the Marion County public school closures as they pertain to inclimate weather. We try to work as long as conditions are not dangerous. If

you are unsure, please call us to confirm.

• Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 48 hours notice to waive the FULL appointment fee.

• In the event of inclimate weather, a family emergency or any other uncontrollable circumstance, the groomer has the discretion to waive the fee within the 48 hour period.

• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom if we feel the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the groomer.    

2. No-Shows

It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not available at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact the groomer at least 48 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. We do provide a 15 minute grace period. Once the 15 minute grace period is up we must move on to the next appointment and you will be subject to the no-show fee. It is also considered a "no-show" when a client does not sign our service agreement and/or refuses to sign at their scheduled appointment time as our service agreement is required for services to be rendered, therefore the appointment must be canceled.

• We reserve the right to charge the FULL grooming fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show". Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance to avoid such situations and fees. 

• In the event of inclimate weather, a family emergency or any other uncontrollable circumstance, the groomer has the discretion to waive the fee within the 48 hour period.

• We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or client for any reason. 

3. Photo and Video Consent

Photography Consent: I hereby consent my pet(s) and/or me to be photographed and I AUTHORIZE Paradise Pet Spaw LLC/Wag Swag, its employees, agents, or authorized representatives to use, reproduce, publish, transmit, distribute, and display the said photograph(s) in Paradise Pet Spaw LLC/Wag Swag grooming displays, advertisements, website, or other material for promotional purposes. Images are the property of Paradise Pet Spaw LLC/Wag Swag. The use of images remains loyalty free indefinitely on a voluntary basis and is not considered work for hire. Please be assured that no personal information identifying you or any of your information will be disclosed or shared.
